Craig Thomas has worked extensively in film and television productions in Montreal, which have included the following current and upcoming projects, CBCs new drama, The Bridge, national Subway & Desjardins commercials, and American director Todd Hayes Bob Dylan bio pic, I'm Not There where Craig played Black Panther co-founder Huey Newton, to name a few. In spring 2010 Craig will be working with Jake Gyllenhaal in Duncan Jones's Source Code.

Albert M. Chan portrays Dr. Derrick Lee in the dramatic feature EVERY DAY, which will premiere at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival. The film stars Helen Hunt, Liev Schreiber, Brian Dennehy, Eddie Izzard, and Carla Gugino.

The National Film Board of Canada awarded FATE SCORES, a short film written and directed by Albert M. Chan, with 3rd Prize in the Best Canadian Short Film competition at the 2009 Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Albert was also selected for the Rising Star Award for Excellence in Filmmaking at the 2010 Canada Int'l Film Festival. FATE SCORES, featuring Boston studio members Albert M. Chan, Heidi Rhodes, Mary Niederkorn, Jonathan Vittum, Angela Gunn, Brian D. Evans, Kandace Cummings, Katarina Morhacova, and Roxanne Y. Morse, has also been an Official Selection of the Sedona Int'l Film Festival, Wisconsin Film Festival, Boston Int'l Film Festival, Memphis Int'l Film Festival, and the Asian American Int'l Film Festival (NYC).

Albert M. Chan played the supporting role of Richard in LIFE OF LEMON, written by and starring former Boston studio member Barry Kneller. The film, now in post-production, also stars Dan Lauria (THE WONDER YEARS), Mimi Kennedy (DHARMA & GREG), and Rachel Miner (CALIFORNICATION).

Elsa Anne Pottier is a lead in "French kiss good bye" filmed in France, and directed by Frederic Amaroli. She is also now finishing her second short film called "The black wall" filmed in the Middle East, both accepted in Cannes Festival 2010.

Duy Van will make an appearance in the TV series "Les Rescapés" scheduled to debut on Radio-Canada at the end of 2010. He will also be part of a new web series titled "Heroes of the North" which will be launched in various web networks this year. He also wrote, directed and edited his first independent short named "Because Life Tastes Good" with the help of two fellow Carter Thor Studios members, Alice Tran & Eleni Maidiotis.

Emilie Josset is about to join Genie Award winner Louise Marleau in the French version of "Masterclass" by Terrence McNally at Théâtre du Rideau Vert where she held last year the part of Tevye's daughter Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof". She also played in the productions of "Sweet Charity", "Chicago", "Cabaret" and "Nine" in Montreal and
Paris. She guest starred in the TV Series "Les Hauts Et Les Bas De Sophie Paquin" and the feature film "Fatal Bazooka" which will be released next June.

Daniel Simpson recently completed an acting role in the sci-fi movie Metal Tornado starring Lou Diamond Phillips and in the upcoming movie Stripped naked starring Linden Ashby(Mortal kombat) Sarah Allen(Black swarm). He also completed an acting role as the bartender in Summer's Moon alongside Ashley Greene (Twilight) and Stephen Mchattie (Watchmen) and made an appearance in the T.V movie Arctic Blast alongside Bruce Davison (X-men)

Outstanding Individual Achievement In A Craft: Lighting Direction And Scenic Design at the 29th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center on September 22, 2008 in New York City.
Albert M. Chan recently spent five weeks portraying Sam in THE GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST (starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, and Michael Douglas), which will be in theaters February 2009. He will also appear with Justin Long and John Hodgman in an upcoming Apple commercial as part of their "Get a Mac" advertising campaign.
Ann Baker, the "Queen of Casting" recently gave a special presentation at our November 17th class. Ann has 30 years of casting experience and gave our actors insight into the casting process for LA and New York productions.
Carter Thor Studio-Boston held a one day Linklater Voice Workshop led by Linklater trained instructor Antonio Ocampo-Guzman as well as a Movement Workshop and Stunt Workshop.
Guest Speaker Program-Anne Mulhall from LDI Casting addressed the class in October and held a lively question and answer session.

Albert M. Chan-co-stars in a commercial for the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism that aired on FOX and NESN in Spring 2008. He also reprised his role as Michel Foucault in Queer Theory! An Academic Travesty at the Los Angeles Glorya Kaufman Theater.
